There is something in all of us that longs to find not only a great bargain but also something unusual or a one of a kind discovery. At a flea market, you might just uncover something truly amazing that you weren’t even looking for. And on Cape Cod there are two really good choices to indulge yourself.
What a great place to find that extra pair of sunglasses or socks. You can also stumble on some real name brand clothing at often a real discount. There are always some very interesting jewelry finds as well as old books and magazines. How about new toys for those days that are not beach days? The list of possibilities is endless. The greatest part of the whole experience is that you never know what you will hit upon when you go to a flea market. I always leave with things that I never thought I would find there and I am always quite pleased with myself and my treasures!
Here are a couple to check out:
Probably the oldest, and from I know, the largest is at the Wellfleet Drive In (Lots of Information) which is right on Route 6 in Wellfleet. From the midcape area, it will take you 20-30 minutes to get there.
Then there is Dick and Ellie’s in Dennis which is growing by leaps and bounds, probably because of its central location right off Exit 9 on Route 6. Check out the homepage for Information and Directions.
